Young Sheldon Book Details Cast Reactions to Season 7 Ending

A new book by Jessica Radloff titled Young Sheldon: The (Juicier-Than-Meemaw's-Brisket) Inside Story of the Hit Comedy includes interviews about the decision to end Young Sheldon in season 7.

In the book, Raegan Revord said she thought the show had another couple years and was shocked when told it was ending. Iain Armitage said he never expected Young Sheldon to continue past season 7. Steve Holland said he never thought the show had four more years left.

The interviews, reported by screenrant.com, offer insight into how the cast and crew learned of the show's conclusion.

Young Sheldon was a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, which ended in 2019. The series ran for five more seasons after The Big Bang Theory ended and became the number 1 comedy after taking over its timeslot.
