Zack Snyder Shares Behind-the-Scenes Batman Photo From Justice League

Zack Snyder posted a behind-the-scenes image from Justice League on his Instagram account, showing Batman standing in a Christ-like pose on what appears to be a film set. Snyder captioned the post with the line, "Faith, Alfred. Faith."

According to comingsoon.net, the post gained over 70,800 likes and 2,000 comments within 14 hours. Fans used the comments to push the hashtag #RestoreTheSnyderVerse, advocating for a continuation of his planned trilogy.

Snyder directed the 2021 director's cut Zack Snyder's Justice League, which ran 242 minutes on HBO Max and became the platform's fourth-most-streamed film that year. The original Justice League was released theatrically in 2017 after Joss Whedon took over production, following Snyder's departure after the death of his daughter, Autumn, in March 2017.

Warner Bros. spent $70 million to complete his version, including new footage shot in October 2020. The #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement played a key role in making the director's cut a reality, and fans raised over $500,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention during the campaign. Cast members including Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher publicly supported the effort.

DC artist Jim Lee confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022 that no plans existed for further Snyder-directed DC projects. Snyder has continued to share behind-the-scenes content from his DC films on social media since the release.
