Pierre Le Gall's Flesh and Fuel won the Golden Eye for best film at the 22nd Zurich Film Festival, with the award presented on Saturday, according to Variety.
Pete Muller's Bucks Harbor took the Golden Eye for best documentary. In the narrative competition, special mentions went to Mads Mengel's The Guest and Zou Jing's A Girl Unknown.
The documentary competition handed special mentions to One in a Million by Itab Azzam and Jack Macinnes and My Home of Wind and Sand by Patrick Wally.
Andrina Mračnikar's Mila/Marija won the Audience Award, Heinz Bütler's Ebjä! Adolf Wölfli won the Critics Jury Award, and Elisabeth Rasmussen's We Are Stardust won the Science Award.
Flesh and Fuel had its world premiere in Cannes' Critics' Week, while Bucks Harbor premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in the Panorama section in February, where it won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury. During this year's Zurich festival, honorary awards were presented to Julianne Moore, Tom Hiddleston, Naomi Watts, John Turturro and other guests.
