AhnLab Consortium Builds N2SF Security Framework at National Research Foundation of Korea
AhnLab's consortium has applied generative AI Model 2 and internet-use Model 4 to the Foundation's work network under the 2026 N2SF adoption support project.
AhnLab announced that its consortium is building and expanding a security framework for generative AI and internet use on the National Research Foundation of Korea's work network, under the 2026 National Network Security Framework (N2SF) adoption support project. The announcement was reported by techm.kr.
The consortium said it has completed the configuration and integration of the security solutions and has implemented all 97 security control items required for the applied models.
The build runs two models together: Model 2, for using generative AI on the work network, and Model 4, for internet use on work terminals.
Data transmission follows N2SF's differentiated control principle by information grade, classifying information as Confidential (C), Sensitive (S) and Open (O).
Rollout schedule
According to the consortium, application will expand to the entire organization from late October to November, with the build to be completed by the end of November.
Since June, AhnLab has worked with MonitorLab, DreamSecurity and SecureOne in a consortium supporting the National Research Foundation of Korea's N2SF adoption.
