THIRDWAVE will hold AI Festival 2026 Powered by THIRDWAVE on November 7, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 at Bellesalle Shibuya First in Tokyo, according to forest.watch.impress.co.jp. Admission is free, but visitors must register for Dospara membership and show the member page at entry and exit.
The venue has moved to Shibuya from Akihabara, where the event was held through 2025. This is the fourth edition, following events in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The programme includes the AI Art Grand Prix awards ceremony, with results announced on the venue stage from 13:00. The All-Japan AI Hackathon 2026 final brings together 20 teams that advanced through six qualifiers and a repechage round.
New additions and market
New programmes for this edition include AI Lightning Talks, an AI Roundtable, and an AI Game corner tied to producer Shimizu Ryo's AI game centre concept.
The AI Creators Market 2026 will sell and exhibit AI-related doujinshi, goods, art, software, tools and robots.
