The Alexa Tablet 12 Pro starts at $499 and is 6.5mm thick, weighing 550 grams. It offers 8 or 16 gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 gigabytes of storage, and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor. Its 12.5-inch display has a 2800 x 1840 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness.

All three tablets run Android with Google Play support. Amazon has been working on the LLM-powered version of its assistant, Alexa Plus, for the last few years, and the Alexa Tablet has been two and a half years in the making, according to Amazon's SVP in charge of hardware and Alexa, Panos Panay.
