Anchornode, Upstage to build open-source benchmark for game asset specs

The benchmark will test how well AI reads and checks game asset production specifications, and the results are due to be released as open source within the year.

Anchornode announced on October 20, 2026 that it will jointly develop a benchmark with Upstage to evaluate how well AI models understand and inspect game asset production specifications. The results are planned to be released as open source within the year.

The benchmark questions and scoring system will be built around requirements taken from game production sites. Anchornode will define the specifications that AI must understand and verify, and design the evaluation questions and answer data, while Upstage will supply its Solar models, APIs and benchmark design expertise.

Upstage joins the project as a demand company and selected Anchornode as its collaboration partner. The work is being carried out as a collaboration task under “DIP-Spot Open Innovation in Dongjak,” a program hosted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA).

In a preliminary check by Upstage, Solar Pro 4 read Unity engine asset configuration files and produced a list of specification rules to comply with in a defined format.
