Anthropic launches enterprise AI spending reports and pooled budgets
The reporting suite shows team output, token cost and workflow breakdowns for a chosen date range, and Anthropic says it won't train models on the data by default.
Anthropic on October 28 announced a suite of reporting tools for enterprise customers that show a team's work over a chosen date range, what it produced, its cost and where workflows broke down, according to techcrunch.com. The company also said it is creating pooled group budgets for managing token spending.
The reports draw on internal analytics and employee surveys and include recommendations for improving results. Anthropic said it will not use this data for model training by default.
The launch arrives as Anthropic points to strong enterprise traction. The company recorded an operating profit in the second quarter of 2026 and 900% net revenue retention, with spending from the same customers up nine times year over year in the third quarter of 2026.
Usage data published separately by Jellyfish, based on agentic coding tool use by 276,000 of its customers, showed Claude Code and other Anthropic-model tools accounted for nearly a third of proposed code changes. Jellyfish reported that spending on those tools has grown 10x since the start of the year and now equals about 2% of total engineering cost. Nicholas Arcolano is chief scientist at Jellyfish and Nikolas Albarran is AI product lead there.
OpenAI released its Astra model in summer 2026 without slowing Anthropic's adoption numbers, according to the article.
