Apple to bring Korean-language Siri AI to users next week

Apple demonstrated the Korean-language version of Siri AI to Korean media on October 21 and said Korean users will be able to use the assistant in Korean through an update starting next week, according to techm.kr.
Siri AI combines personal context understanding, on-screen awareness and app actions on top of next-generation Apple Intelligence. It can find links in message conversations, summarize visible screen content into notes and prepare emails or messages for sending.
A new dedicated Siri AI app stores these conversations and syncs them via iCloud across iPhone, Mac and iPad. A "system orchestrator" coordinates the on-device search index, app tools and AI models to fulfill requests, Apple said.
The system uses both on-device models and models running in Private Cloud Compute. Requests processed in the cloud are not stored, and Apple says it cannot access the data; the protections are verified by outside experts. App access stays within per-app sandboxes, with developers deciding via APIs what information and actions Siri can use.
Siri AI was announced in June 2026 based on next-generation Apple Intelligence. Apple previously offered a ChatGPT integration feature for Siri. Apple said Google collaborated on developing the Apple Foundation Models, which are optimized and separately trained and evaluated for Apple's environment rather than linking Gemini directly.
