Apple Updates Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Pixelmator Pro, Freeform

Apple has begun rolling out updated versions of Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Pixelmator Pro, and Freeform, bringing new features across its productivity and creative apps.

The iWork apps now let users ask Siri questions about Pages, Keynote, or Numbers, and request access to a shared presentation, document, or spreadsheet. Pages for Mac gained a Screen View for reading and focused writing, while Numbers added new trigonometry, statistics, and logic functions. Keynote introduced intelligent slide generation that creates images tailored to a presentation.

Apple Creator Studio subscribers get new templates and themes across the three iWork apps. Pixelmator Pro on iPad added Select and Mask tools previously exclusive to Mac. On both Mac and iPad, Pixelmator Pro gained sports and action template collections, templates for launching a creative idea, business, or product, and a Podcasts category for cover artwork sized for major podcast platforms.

Freeform boards now automatically adapt to Dark Mode. Folders let users organize boards into collections and invite others to collaborate. Writing Tools with Apple Intelligence can rewrite, proofread, and summarize handwritten notes. Users can also request access to collaborate on shared files or automate adding content using Shortcuts.

In visionOS 27, Freeform lets users pull multiple items from a board into their space and view 3D models together as a group.
