CloudNetworks to Host Webinar on AI-Era Infrastructure Costs

The October 22 online session will cover cost optimization with Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager, including VMware migration cases.

CloudNetworks announced it will hold an online webinar on October 22, 2026, titled "Infrastructure Economics in the AI Era," according to datanet.co.kr. The session will present strategies for optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure costs using Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).

The webinar opens with a company introduction by Lim Sang-hyun, a manager at CloudNetworks, followed by a presentation by Lee Chang-won, an executive director at Oracle Korea. The presentation will cover connectivity, security, stability and operability as key operating conditions for enterprise AI, and explain why total cost of ownership must be considered.

Oracle Linux offers the Red Hat Compatible Kernel (RHCK) and Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK), letting enterprises choose a kernel to match their workloads. Ksplice applies applicable kernel and major library patches without rebooting, while OLVM provides central management of virtual machines and hosts, live migration, high availability, role-based access control, templates and API-based automation.

The webinar will also present validation of storage, network, backup and disaster recovery environments, along with step-by-step migration procedures for moving from VMware to OLVM. Speakers will share a case of a financial-sector VMware-based virtualization environment migrated to OLVM and a case of migrating a Unix-based core system to Linux.
