CoreWeave in talks with Korean data center operators for market entry
CoreWeave says Korean firms have requested thousands to tens of thousands of Nvidia B300 GPUs as it reviews partnerships and targets the AI inference market.
CoreWeave is in talks with multiple South Korean data center operators about possibly entering the Korean data center market, and is moving to expand its AI inference business there through partnerships, according to ZDNet Korea.
The company said South Korean companies have requested thousands to tens of thousands of Nvidia B300 GPUs, with inquiries also coming in for next-generation Vera Rubin systems.
CoreWeave plans to use Weights & Biases, which it acquired, to connect its GPU infrastructure and inference services with software customers in Korea. It said it is reviewing cooperation with several Korean companies and aims to expand business opportunities around the inference market.
The talks follow CoreWeave's first participation in a Korean exhibition under its own brand name. It set up a branded booth at AI Festa 26, held at COEX Hall C in Gangnam, Seoul, from the 6th to the 8th.
On the 6th of this month, CoreWeave said it would build a 240MW AI data center in Navi Mumbai with Indian partner AdaniConnex using Nvidia's next-generation Vera Rubin platform. In August 2026, the company announced it would secure three data centers totaling 360MW in Indonesia.
