Everspin said its web security solution Eversafe for Web detected more than 210,000 hacking threat IPs across customer sites over roughly a month, according to dailysecu.com.
The company said that between September 1 and October 17 it recorded 210,784 threat IPs and about 62.04 million attack attempts across seven analyzed customer sites. Those sites were three in the financial sector, two public institutions and two private companies.
Everspin said the threat IP figure is roughly 7,800 times the 27 threat IPs recently disclosed in connection with financial-sector hacking.
Eversafe for Web is built on Moving Target Defense (MTD) technology, which changes the page's security code daily and varies request URLs and data.
The company said it has blocked a cumulative total of about 25 billion attacks and has shared the threat IP analysis data with the relevant authorities.
