Everyzone presents AI ransomware defense at AIS 2026 in Seoul
Everyzone detailed its WhiteDefender anti-ransomware product and its block-and-restore engines at the November 3 conference, which drew about 700 attendees.
Everyzone presented its ransomware defense strategy at the 2026 AI Security Conference (AIS 2026), held on November 3 at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Seoul, according to Daily Secu. About 700 security staff and industry officials attended the event.
Everyzone general team leader Kim Jun-young gave a talk on the evolution of AI-based cyber attacks and on real-time defense technology intended to minimize ransomware damage.
The company's anti-ransomware product, WhiteDefender, uses its own AI algorithm to analyze process and file activity. Its Triple Defender (TD) engine monitors file access and modification at the OS kernel level and identifies abnormal encryption activity, while the White Rollback (WR) engine backs up original files before encryption and automatically restores files damaged during blocking.
Everyzone also introduced product lineups for PCs and for Windows and Linux servers, along with a central management platform that uses a web console. That platform can be deployed in cloud or on-premises form depending on the customer environment.
Background
In 2022, an anonymous pharmaceutical company had its production and business systems paralyzed by a ransomware infection and then invested heavily in backup systems. In 2023, the same company was infected again; restoring data from backups took about 7 days, and losses from the work stoppage were estimated at about 15 billion won. The company later adopted WhiteDefender after also reviewing ways to block attacks early.
