Faraday Future launches $299 FF Nova Mini robot for kids
The 34.9 cm bipedal robot ships with more than 50 motion patterns and a 2000 mAh battery rated for roughly 50 minutes of use, Faraday Future said.
Faraday Future and FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem announced on October 15 the US launch of the FF Nova Mini, a small bipedal educational robot priced at $299, according to japan.cnet.com.
The robot stands 34.9 cm tall and weighs 0.94 kg. It uses 17 servo motors across its head, arms and legs, and is built to walk, change direction, stand up on its own and perform a forward roll.
FF Nova Mini comes with more than 50 preloaded motion patterns, including dancing. Its 2000 mAh battery provides about 50 minutes of continuous operation.
Users can control the robot with voice commands and define their own. Movements can be programmed in an app by combining command blocks, or recorded by posing the robot by hand and replaying the motion. Faraday Future is positioning the device for home and school use by children aged 8 and up. A full software development kit is not released for the model.

A separate course, the Physical AI Spark Program, costs $499 and offers 16 small-group live classes over two months. Announced alongside the Mini was the $2,490 FF Nova, a humanoid robot aimed at developers with AI agent integration and reinforcement-learning motion development, sold by invitation initially.
