Fitbit Edge Retail Listings Leak Design, Colors and Specs
Listings shared by Android Headlines show a Google wearable with a 7-day battery, ECG strips, and Bluetooth-only connectivity.
Retail listings for a device called the Fitbit Edge have surfaced, shared by Android Headlines. The listings describe the Fitbit Edge as a new wearable from Google and show its design, colors, specifications and listed apps.
The leaked images show a bulbous screen that extends close to the perimeter, displaying a Pixel Watch-style face with complications for heart rate, step count and starting a workout. The back of the device has a band removal mechanism at the top and bottom and a sensor stack similar to the Fitbit Air. Metal strips on the left and right sides are presumably for ECG readings.
Straps and casings are listed in Canyon, Obsidian and Olive colors. A comparison table lists Fitbit Edge connectivity as Bluetooth without Wi-Fi, with Notifications compared to the Fitbit Air. Listed apps include Google Maps, media and music controls, and Find My Phone. Battery life is listed as up to 7 days, with support for Android and iOS.
The Fitbit Edge has not been announced by Google. In August, an accidental marketing leak related to the device occurred, and last month an FCC listing for it appeared.
