Report: Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra to get upgraded Privacy Display
SamMobile says both models will also offer higher display brightness for reading in direct sunlight.
Samsung's Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will carry an upgraded version of the Privacy Display feature, according to a report by SamMobile. The same report says both phones will also get enhanced display brightness aimed at making the screen easier to read in direct sunlight.
Privacy Display is a screen feature that limits the viewing angle so content is harder to read from the side. According to multiple reports, the standard Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27+ will not include it.
Samsung introduced Privacy Display earlier in 2026 on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Previous reports had suggested the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ would also ship with the feature.
The reports do not include pricing, specifications or a launch date for the Galaxy S27 series.
