Gomumari launches SAP S/4HANA master data cleanup service

Gomumari Co., Ltd. launched a service called Master Migration for SAP S/4HANA on October 24, 2026, aimed at cleaning up item and part master data before customers move to SAP S/4HANA, according to ascii.jp.
The service normalizes all item and part master names using the customer's own unified notation rules before the migration takes place. It also lists suspected duplicate parts together with the evidence behind each flag, and returns a before-and-after mapping table.
Customers send master data exported as CSV or Excel files from their existing core system. Pricing starts at 500,000 yen, and the company estimates delivery at about two weeks.
For keeping data clean after migration, Gomumari offers ongoing normalization of newly registered items through a monthly business AI agent service.
Maintenance deadline drives migration work
SAP announced in February 2020 that it will provide standard maintenance for core applications including SAP ERP 6.0 until the end of 2027, with optional extended maintenance until the end of 2030.
A survey of 295 Japanese companies using SAP ERP, published on December 17, 2025, with fieldwork from September 9 to October 31, 2025, found that 55.9% were using SAP ECC 6.0 and 24.1% had not decided on a SAP S/4HANA migration policy. Among companies that had already moved to SAP S/4HANA, 47.6% had migrated from ECC through straight conversion.
