Google adds in-chat file creation and editing to Gemini
Users can now generate, preview and edit documents, PDFs, presentations and spreadsheets without leaving the Gemini chat, Google says.
Google has added features to Gemini that let users generate, preview and edit files such as documents, PDFs, presentations and spreadsheets directly inside the chat, according to k-tai.watch.impress.co.jp.
The file preview and editing features are available to all users, in every language supported by the Gemini app, Google said.
PDF preview and editing work on both the web and mobile versions of Gemini. Other file formats are supported only on the web version.
The update means users no longer need to leave the conversation to open a separate document tool before working on a file.
