Google Health 5.10 Adds AFib Alerts in Japan and Chat Log Deletion
The update brings Irregular Rhythm Notifications to Pixel Watch and Fitbit users in Japan, plus a Readiness Score that draws on more sleep signals.
Google Health version 5.10 is rolling out for Android, with a smaller update also available on iOS, according to 9to5google.com. The release adds three new features across the app and its wearables.
Irregular Rhythm Notifications are now available in Japan on Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices. The feature analyzes heart rhythm data in the background while the user is still or sleeping, checking for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib). Users in Japan can set it up from the Health tab in the Google Health app.
The Readiness Score now draws on additional signals from sleep to give a more personalized reading, and users can ask their Google Health Coach to delete logged daily entries such as workouts, meals, weight and symptoms through chat.
That chat-based deletion excludes medical records.
Earlier releases
Google Health 5.09 previously added Cardio Load from third-party workouts and more. In October 2025, Google teased the Fitbit Edge tracker and confirmed an October 12 launch.
