Gramz adds measurement-based AI model try-on to SASAGE.APP
Virtual Try On Version 2 generates model-worn images from a garment's actual length and shoulder width, with six model sizes to choose from.
Gramz has released Virtual Try On Version 2 (VTO2) for its SASAGE.APP tool, according to ascii.jp. The feature was launched on October 15 and generates images of garments worn by models.
SASAGE.APP is designed to streamline the photography, measurement and copywriting work involved in creating listings for e-commerce sites. VTO2 feeds data such as garment length and shoulder width into AI so that generated images reflect the product's actual measurements.
According to the company, the feature reproduces differences in real garment length and silhouette when an item is worn by models of different heights and body types. Users can pick from three model sizes each for men and women — S, M and L — without carrying out additional measurement work.
Gramz says this also makes it possible to easily generate looks such as a men's garment worn oversized by a female model.
Background
In reuse e-commerce, which handles one-of-a-kind items, the cost and labour of arranging models and shooting each product had been an issue, according to ascii.jp.
