Hardian Security raises 36M euros for AI vulnerability platform

Dutch startup Hardian Security has raised 36 million euros for a platform that combines exposure management and agentic penetration testing, per digitaltoday.co.kr.

Dutch security startup Hardian Security has raised 36 million euros in funding, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The company offers AI agents that find vulnerabilities attackers could exploit, combining continuous exposure management and agentic penetration testing on a single platform.

The funding comes as security vendors in Korea and abroad roll out AI-focused products and services. SK Shieldus, for its part, analyzed that recent incidents in the financial sector were cases of automating and advancing existing attack techniques rather than AI creating new attack methods.

CrowdStrike analyzed the attacker in those incidents as a Chinese-speaking user likely motivated by financial gain, without naming a specific organization.
