HD Hyundai Robotics CTO speaks at Palantir bootcamp in New York

The CTO outlined joint physical AI work with Palantir Technologies, including AI agents that review robot programs and propose improvements.

HD Hyundai Robotics said its CTO gave a keynote at Palantir Technologies' Sovereignty Bootcamp in New York, where he outlined the two companies' joint physical AI collaboration and its results, according to inews24.com.

The companies combined AI agents, simulation and engineers' judgment so that AI agents review existing robot programs and propose improvements. HD Hyundai Robotics expects the approach to cut robot programming costs by more than 50 percent.

Since the two companies began using AI agents for problem-solving in August 2026, average task time has fallen from 21.5 days to 7.9 days, about 63 percent shorter.
