Honor 700 series tipped for 200mm teleconverter, reservations soon
Weibo tipsters say both Honor 700 models will support a 200mm teleconverter, while reservations for the series are set to open shortly, according to GSM Arena.
Tipsters on Weibo have shared new details about the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro, saying both phones will support a 200mm teleconverter, according to GSM Arena. A second tipster added that reservations for the series are about to open.
Digital Chat Station said the Honor 700 series pairs a mid-size screen with ultra-narrow bezels, a large battery, a built-in rear screen, a Snapdragon chipset and a periscope telephoto camera. The same tipster said both the standard Honor 700 and the Honor 700 Pro would work with the 200mm teleconverter.
Smart Pikachu listed 100MP-class imaging, ultra-long battery life, a creative rear screen, teleconverter support and front and rear Live Photos for the series, and said reservations would open soon. The tipster also hinted that Chinese actress Ju Jingyi may become the new brand ambassador.
Earlier claims about the Pro model
In a post last week, Digital Chat Station said there are three Honor 700 models and that the Honor 700 Pro prototype carries a 6.57-inch 1.5K screen, a 1.72-inch rear screen, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a roughly 9,000 mAh battery. The tipster also said the family should come in colors roughly translating to Cool White, Clear Sky, Blues and Pink Mist.
Honor has not confirmed the Honor 700 series, and the launch is expected in China next month. Honor and the tipsters have not announced official specifications, a launch date or pricing for the lineup.
