Hyundai AutoEver shows MobED patrol robot with AI video analysis
Hyundai AutoEver demonstrated a patrol robot built on the MobED platform and an AI control system at the 2026 International Police Industry Exhibition.
Hyundai AutoEver unveiled a next-generation security and safety solution that combines a patrol robot, AI video analysis and control features at the 2026 International Police Industry Exhibition, according to techm.kr.
The patrol robot is built on MobED, a four-wheel mobile robot platform from Hyundai Motor and Kia Robotics Lab. It carries out tasks on a set schedule and sends video of any detected anomalies to the control platform in real time. The platform then uses AI to analyze the footage and assess the situation.
At its booth, Hyundai AutoEver demonstrated the MobED-based robot alongside the AI system detecting abnormal behavior.
MobED Pro, the model fitted with autonomous driving technology, carries two lidars and three depth cameras for obstacle detection indoors and outdoors. The platform can adjust its body height and tilt and stays balanced on slopes, uneven surfaces and curbs up to 20cm high.
Support from planning to maintenance
Hyundai AutoEver said it supports the entire process of fielding patrol robots, from planning and construction to operation stabilization, integrated control and maintenance.
The 2026 International Police Industry Exhibition opened on 21 October 2026, one day before the article was published.
