Innogrid to Fold National R&D Results Into Its AI Platform

Innogrid says it will embed AI-PaaS and AI-MDC project outcomes into its own AI products, linking them to customer business via its AICubeit platform.

Innogrid announced on the 8th that it will internalize technologies and industry validation experience secured through national R&D projects into its own AI products and platforms and connect them to actual customer business, according to datanet.co.kr.

The company secured AI development and operation platform capabilities through the AI-PaaS project, and domestic AI semiconductor-based infrastructure capabilities through the AI-MDC project. It plans to combine the results of the two projects to expand into a business covering AI infrastructure construction and AI platform development and operation.

In the AI-PaaS project, Innogrid developed an integrated gateway and portal technology that supports everything from AI model registration to service execution. In the AI-MDC project, the company is responsible for cloud technology that integrates computing resources distributed across multiple AI-MDCs and allocates and scales resources according to workloads.

Innogrid will link the secured technologies and know-how step by step to its own AI platform and infrastructure technologies, including its AI/MLOps execution platform AICubeit. The strategy is called “From xPU to AI Platform,” connecting AI-MDC and AI-PaaS outcomes into a single flow.

Earlier project milestones

On the 1st, a results-sharing meeting was held where participating organizations of the two projects shared core technologies and industry-specific validation results and discussed service application and commercialization directions. After its merger, Innogrid also presented three goals through “Vision Plus 2030”: becoming the No. 1 domestic cloud solution, expanding its solution and service portfolio, and expanding its customer base.
