Intel Driver Claims Up to 31% FPS Gain in Resident Evil Requiem

Intel's WHQL driver 32.0.101.9150 promises double-digit FPS gains in several games, including Assassin's Creed Shadows and Valhalla.

Intel has released WHQL graphics driver version 32.0.101.9150, and its release notes claim performance improvements across a range of titles on Intel Arc GPUs, according to PC Gamer.

The biggest claimed uplift is in Resident Evil Requiem, where the notes say Core Ultra 2 (Lunar Lake) integrated Arc GPUs see up to a 31% average fps improvement at 1080p on medium settings. At high settings, that claim drops to 29%.

Other titles in the notes include Assassin's Creed Shadows, with an 18% fps boost at 1080p on high settings, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, with an 11% boost at the same resolution and settings.

Panther Lake and Arc B-series gains

Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake) integrated GPUs are claimed to get a 5% boost for F1 25 at 1080p on medium settings. Arc B-series graphics cards are claimed to see a 6% boost in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Monster Hunter Rise at 1440p on high settings.

PC Gamer has been tracking the lowest available price of each current-gen GPU since August 14, 2025, and notes that in its experience Intel Arc GPUs have been temperamental rather than reliable across their lifespan.
