iOS 27.2 adds customizable Suggested Actions to Messages

The Apple Intelligence feature suggests calendar events, reminders and more under messages, with five toggles in Settings.

Apple's iOS 27.2 update, released last week, brings a new Messages feature called Suggested Actions, according to 9to5mac.com. The feature displays a small suggestion beneath a message that contains actionable information, such as an event to add to the calendar or a task to be reminded of.

Tapping a suggestion turns the message into an action. The feature is powered by Apple Intelligence and requires an AI-compatible iPhone.

Users can control the suggestions in Settings, under Apps, then Messages, then Suggested Actions. Five suggestion types can be toggled individually: Add to Calendar, Add to Reminders, Add to Notes, Show in Maps, and Flights and Packages.

All five suggestion types are enabled by default after the update.
