ISTsoft launches BloomingTalk AI avatar video call app for A2O LITE and A2O SOUL
ISTsoft said BloomingTalk gives 24 A2O LITE and A2O SOUL members an AI avatar fan channel with DM, voice call and video call.
ISTsoft announced on October 15 that it is launching BloomingTalk, a K-pop artist video call app built on its Persona Interactive real-time conversational AI avatar service, together with producer Lee Soo-man's company Blooming Grace, according to aitimes.com.
The app was released to coincide with the domestic debut of girl group A2O LITE and boy group A2O SOUL, and serves as a global fan communication channel for 24 members of the two groups.
Users can chat one-on-one with an AI avatar of a chosen member through DM, voice call and video call. ISTsoft individually produced 24 AI avatars based on real artist filming data, and the app uses server-based rendering and streaming to deliver high-definition video calls regardless of device performance.
ISTsoft plans to expand the supported languages, which include Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.
Roles in the partnership
Blooming Grace handles service operation and artist IP management, ISTsoft handles AI avatar production and real-time rendering and streaming technology, and Mindlogic developed the app.
A2O LITE, presented by Lee Soo-man after he left SM Entertainment as his return to domestic K-pop production, topped Melon's main chart Top 100 at 11 PM on the 14th, 29 hours after the release of its debut song NEON.
