The final day featured a host bootcamp along with sessions on property sourcing, hanok operation and hostel startup.
Background
In August, a Korea Association of Guest Houses survey found that 46% of respondents who had looked for shared-accommodation startup information said quality information was lacking, while 64% said it was hard to judge reliability. Assembly member Lee Jae-jung of the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee attended the October 9 opening ceremony alongside Korea Tourism Association president Seo Won-seok, association chair Chae Bo-young and Airbnb Korea country manager Seo Ga-yeon.
