Kakao Mobility Sets Out BRING-ON Robot Operation Strategy
The platform links elevators, doors and security systems so robots share one connection to building infrastructure, the company said at IRBC 2026.
Kakao Mobility presented its strategy for BRING-ON, an integrated robot operation platform, at the 2026 International Robot Business Conference (IRBC 2026), held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the 5th, according to techm.kr.
BRING-ON manages robot calling, AI dispatching, infrastructure control for movement inside buildings, and handover of tasks between people and robots in a single system. The platform connects elevators, automatic doors and security systems so that individual robots do not have to communicate separately with each facility, an approach the company calls One-Connection.
Kakao Mobility runs robot delivery services with Robotis at Shilla Stay Seocho and Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul. The company said average daily robot utilization rose eightfold after the platform was applied and that the delivery success rate reached 100%. At one hotel, room service revenue roughly tripled after a QR-code-based ordering system was linked.
Kang Eun-kyu, leader of Kakao Mobility's future business platform team, said at the conference that robot hardware is now broadly standardized, making platform-based operation capability for integrated control of many devices the key task for commercialization.
The company plans to expand participation by robot makers and building facility companies and to standardize robot tasks and infrastructure connections.
Earlier hotel results
In March 2026, Kakao Mobility disclosed hotel robot delivery results showing the same eightfold rise in daily utilization and a 100% delivery success rate.
