Kaspersky adds AI summaries and MCP Connect to Threat Intelligence Portal
Kaspersky's Threat Intelligence Portal now offers AI-based summarization and Model Context Protocol integration, available immediately within existing Basic quotas.
Kaspersky has updated its Threat Intelligence Portal with an AI-based summarization feature and support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, the company announced. The update allows companies to connect their own or external AI applications directly to the portal.
The summarization tool condenses large volumes of indicators and reports into short summaries in one Click, according to dailysecu.com. The AI summary and search functions can also be applied to indicators of compromise identified through open-source intelligence (OSINT) searches.
The threat intelligence behind the portal is built on more than 25 petabytes of Kaspersky's own threat data. Customers can use the new AI features immediately within the Basic request quota included in their existing Kaspersky Threat Lookup license.
Alexander Mazjkin, head of Kaspersky's threat intelligence product line, said the update is aimed at helping analysts process threat data more efficiently. The head of Kaspersky's Korean branch also commented on the launch.
