Kling AI Launches Kling 4.0 With 30 Seconds Video Generation

Kling 4.0 generates clips up to 30 seconds in one pass, adds Omni Reference and 10-bit HDR, and will get an API for developers.

Kling AI officially launched its new video generation model, Kling 4.0, on October 16, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The company said the model can natively generate videos up to 30 Seconds long in a single generation.

Kling 4.0 adds an Omni Reference feature that supports combining up to 15 reference materials and inputting up to 10 keyframes. It also supports up to 10-bit HDR output, while 4K and 1080p resolutions and a 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio are planned to be supported.

The model can be used in conjunction with Kling MCP (Model Context Protocol) and CLI (Command Line Interface). Kling AI provides services to more than 50,000 companies and has annual revenue of around $500 million, with over 100 million users across 224 countries and regions worldwide.

Separately, director Kim Sung-su, who directed 'Seoul Spring', recently introduced the AI short film 'Warm Train', produced with Kling 4.0, at the Busan International Film Festival's Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM). Kling AI also recently partnered with the Korea AI Content Creator Association (AICCA) and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association (KORAIA) to develop generative AI training courses, discover industrial use cases, and facilitate business matching.
