Korean chip firms take AI data center tech to OCP Summit

Rebellions, Panmnesia, Xsight Labs and FADU showed NPUs, CXL switches and SSDs in San Jose, with Rebellions presenting alongside Arm.

Korean chip companies Rebellions, Panmnesia, Xsight Labs and FADU presented their AI data center technologies at the 2026 OCP Global Summit, held in San Jose, California, from October 12 to 15, according to it.donga.com. The event drew 605 member companies, among them NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Arm and Qualcomm.

Rebellions took part as a startup and presented jointly with Arm on linking Arm's AGI CPU with Rebellions NPUs for agent AI infrastructure. Rebellions vice president of product management Jennifer Glore and Arm senior director of marketing Dilip Ramachandran led a session on the RebelServer with AGI CPU.

Panmnesia exhibited a PCIe 6.4-CXL 3.2 fusion switch chip. Xsight Labs demonstrated two AI inference demos built on its MX1 memory infrastructure, including sharing KV cache across inference servers through a CXL memory pool. Its chief product officer gave a talk on general-purpose parallel programming for data-adjacent computing and joined a panel with Marvell, Samsung Electronics, SK hynix and GOTBRASS Technologies.

Xsight Labs and Samsung Electronics co-presented a disaggregated CXL memory architecture for agentic AI with dynamic pooling, sharing and PNM offloading.

FADU unveiled its File Semantic SSD (FS-SSD) for the first time. It also showed a 16TB SSD based on its 6th-generation FC6161 controller, which it says delivers up to 2.5 times the performance of the previous generation. The drive consumes under 28 watts during sequential writes and under 5 watts at idle, with the controller drawing under 6 watts for reads and under 7 watts for writes.
