Lemmo 3 cargo e-bike debuts with semi-solid state battery

Lemmo announced the Lemmo 3, a cargo e-bike with a semi-solid state battery, 180km range, and a Kickstarter launch ahead of April 2027 deliveries.

Lemmo has announced the Lemmo 3, its first cargo e-bike and one of the first e-bikes built around a semi-solid state battery. The company says the 960Wh pack delivers up to 180km (110 miles) of range.

According to Lemmo, the semi-solid state battery is 20 percent smaller and lighter than a comparable pack while offering a 30 percent longer lifespan. The bike itself weighs 39kg (86 pounds) with the 5kg (11 pound) battery installed.

The Lemmo 3 is rated for a 200kg (441lb) total load, split between 80kg (176lbs) on the rear rack and 20kg (44lbs) on the front. It fits riders from 155cm to 195cm. A rear-hub motor is rated 750W in the US, 500W in Canada, and 250W for Europe, with up to 90Nm of torque.

Features include integrated lighting with turn signals and brake lights, a 3.5-inch touch screen, a USB-C port, OTA updates, rear-facing radar, hydraulic brakes, embedded frame and battery locks, and GPS/LTE tracking.

A Kickstarter teaser page says the Lemmo 3 is "launching soon" for the EU, UK, US, and Canada. A refundable €39.90 deposit locks in tax-exclusive pricing of €1,890, though Lemmo says retail pricing will climb well beyond €3,390. First deliveries are targeted for April 2027.
