Lenovo Korea, Lomin launch on-premises AI de-identification appliance
The Lomin Redact AI Appliance runs on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers with Nvidia GPUs and keeps sensitive data inside closed networks.
Lenovo Korea said on October 20, 2026, that it is partnering with AI document specialist Lomin to offer the Lomin Redact AI Appliance, an integrated solution that pairs AI-based personal data de-identification with AI infrastructure, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.
The appliance is built on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers with Nvidia GPUs and bundles AI compute infrastructure, de-identification software and an operating environment. Customers can run personal data detection and de-identification on-premises or in closed networks, so sensitive source data does not leave their systems.
The package integrates Lomin's Lomin Redact software and targets regulated industries such as finance and the public sector. It uses Vision Language Model technology to analyze document layout, characters and context, allowing it to detect both structured and unstructured personal and sensitive information.
Lenovo Korea said it plans to expand enterprise AI use cases that combine its AI infrastructure with domestic specialized AI software through the partnership.
