LiveCapture4 monitoring software released for Windows 11

Daddy's Office LLC's new version adds AI object detection, on-PC processing and 10-second pre-detection recording.

LiveCapture4, recording software for monitoring cameras, was released on October 16, 2026, according to forest.watch.impress.co.jp. The program runs on Windows 11 and requires at least 8GB of memory.

The software connects to USB webcams and ONVIF-compliant network cameras, and can also link directly to RTSP cameras by entering a URL. Recorded footage appears on a 24-hour timeline with thumbnails of AI-detected events, and clips can be saved as MP4 files.

LiveCapture4 offers AI object detection and can switch to motion detection, with users able to specify detection areas on screen. According to the developer, no dedicated AI hardware is needed. The software can also save video from up to 10 seconds before a detection.

Video analysis and recording are handled entirely on the PC without cloud services. LiveCapture4 is free for personal use; business or commercial use requires an inquiry by email. The release carries version number 4.0.0.10160, dated October 16, 2026.
