Mars Auto to Join 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress

Mars Auto announced it will take part in the 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress, to be held from the 19th to the 23rd at Gangneung Olympic Park. The company said it will use the event to discuss ways to expand commercialization of autonomous trucks with global transport policy officials, including representatives of the US Department of Transportation (US DOT) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Mars Auto vice president Noh Je-kyung will speak in the Korean-side role in major sessions. On the 21st, Noh will appear as a speaker in the session "Building Transport Routes in Preparation for Autonomous Driving," hosted by Sarah Davidson of the US DOT. Other speakers include US DOT Under Secretary Seval Oz, TxDOT Commissioner Mark Williams, and Verizon's Jothi Sharma.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, Noh will also speak at the special session "From Demonstration to Commercialization: Autonomous Driving Global Tour."
