The app supports traditional page-based comics as well as vertical-scroll formats, along with a smart-panel mode designed for mobile reading. It also includes a Pull List feature that lets readers follow series, characters, and creators.
Two subscription tiers will be available. Base costs $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with new issues available as soon as three months after print release. Ultimate costs $12.49 per month or $99.99 per year, with new issues arriving as soon as one month after print publication.
A limited-time founding-member price of $59.99 for the first year of Ultimate Annual is being offered before launch.
The app will be previewed at New York Comic Con from October 8 through October 11 at booth #2435. The first 2,000 people who claim the offer will receive a limited-edition Marvel Comics print ID card.
