Meta opens Muse Voice AI calling and video chat to all US users

The feature runs on Meta's Muse Realtime Avatar and Muse Realtime Voice models and works on mobile, web and Mac.

Meta said on November 5, 2026 that Muse Voice, which lets users call and video chat with its Muse AI agent, is available to all users in the United States. The company announced the rollout in a blog post, and Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang shared a demo on X, according to TechCrunch.

The feature is powered by Meta's Muse Realtime Avatar and Muse Realtime Voice models, which drive the animated avatar shown during a session. Meta said the avatar displays subtle expressions and gestures matched to the tone of the conversation.

Muse Voice works on mobile, web and Mac. Meta said support is planned later for its AI Glasses and for Muse Charm, the upcoming wearable device for Muse. The company has said it plans to launch a Tamagotchi-like wearable for Muse before the end of the year.

From Connect to a nationwide release

Meta first introduced the video chatting feature in September 2026 at its Connect developer conference. The avatar in the demo was nicknamed Jolly.
