Morphic launches MCP integration for Claude, ChatGPT Codex and Zed

Morphic has released Morphic MCP, a Model Context Protocol integration that lets users create and edit images, videos and audio from external AI and development tools, according to dailysecu.com. The company says users can connect at no extra charge by copying the server address from the studio settings page.

The integration works in environments including Claude, Claude Code, VS Code, ChatGPT Codex, Codex CLI and Zed. Image features include generating four versions in one request, partial modification, outpainting, upscaling and compositing. Video features cover text-, image- and frame-based generation, lip sync, trimming, speed adjustment and subtitle insertion, while audio tools include dialogue, music and sound effect generation, voice conversion, voice extraction and review tools for video composition, audio levels and silent segments.

Outputs are saved to the Morphic Studio project library and can be edited further through the Canvas and Compose features. A pre-quote feature shows estimated credit consumption for pipelines of up to 20 steps before a task is run.

Administrative controls

Individual connection permissions can be revoked, and connections are automatically disconnected after 30 days of inactivity. Organization administrators can toggle MCP use for the whole organization and manage members' credit usage and external tool connections.

Morphic CEO J.D. Kanani said the MCP was launched so users can use Morphic's production features inside familiar LLMs.
