Motif Drive announced it has raised 65 billion won in pre-Series A funding to advance its autonomous driving technology and pursue entry into the US market. The funding round included Blissvine Ventures, POSTECH Holdings, Tony Investment, SGC Partners, V-High Investment, BSK Investment and K-Venture Partners, according to datanet.co.kr.

The company is developing a self-driving system that combines an end-to-end (E2E) model with a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model. Motif Drive aims to demonstrate its E2E and VLA-based system on real vehicles between late 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.

Motif Drive established a US subsidiary, Motif Drive USA, in April this year and now has 40 employees, including PhD-level researchers. The company filed 7 autonomous driving-related patents in the first half of this year.
