Naver Waives Fees to Push N Delivery Sellers Into FBN

Naver is removing penalty and storage fees for N Delivery sellers who switch to Fulfillment by Naver, as it opens FBN services in the Smart Store Seller Center.

Naver has begun actively encouraging sellers using its N Delivery service to convert to Fulfillment by Naver (FBN), the company's logistics model, according to etnews.com. Sellers who make the switch will not face penalty or termination fees, and Naver said it arranged this with logistics companies.

Under the transition benefits, Naver will waive product storage fees for sellers converting to FBN until the end of this year. The company is also running a promotion that applies standard delivery rates to dawn delivery for FBN sellers.

On September 30, Naver officially opened FBN application, additional product inventory linkage and outbound services in the Smart Store Seller Center. Previously, sellers applying for FBN had to fill out separate documents and sign up directly for each logistics company's WMS account.

FBN operates as a direct contract model in which Naver manages logistics while partners such as CJ Logistics run on-site operations. Naver has also opened N Delivery dedicated return centers, including one at Techtaka Gimpo, handling collection, inspection, grading, restocking, refurbishment and repackaging.
