Naver ties Plus Membership free shipping to discount price

Naver will require Naver Plus Membership members to reach a minimum immediate-discount price of 10,000 won for free shipping on N Delivery, replacing the current 10,000-won minimum selling price, for orders placed after November 11, according to etnews.com.
Under the new rule, a product whose selling price is above 10,000 won but whose price after immediate discount is 10,000 won or less will not qualify for free shipping, and the related benefit tag will not be displayed.
Combined-shipping calculations change as well. Two products with a total selling price of 11,000 won and a 4,000-won immediate discount, leaving a final total of 7,000 won, would not qualify for free shipping.
Sellers' own free-shipping settings unchanged
Products that sellers have already set as free shipping are not affected by the change.
Naver said the policy aims to prevent price abuse that confuses consumers, and that using the final expected payment price is a standard industry practice.
In October 2025, Coupang changed its free Rocket Delivery policy for general members from a pre-discount threshold of 19,800 won to a threshold of 19,800 won or more after coupons and immediate discounts.
