Naver Works tops domestic collaboration apps for 9 months

Mobile Index data shows Naver Works led eight domestic collaboration tools in users, active devices and usage time from January to September.

Naver Works ranked first among domestic collaboration tools in mobile users, active devices and total usage time for nine consecutive months, Naver Cloud announced on October 21, 2026.

According to Mobile Index, the platform led eight domestic collaboration tools from January to September this year across all three measures. In the third quarter, its monthly average users reached about 302,000, roughly double the 153,000 of the second-place service.

Monthly average total usage time was about 499,000 hours, about 2.7 times the second-place service's 186,000 hours. Monthly average active devices came to about 566,000, ahead of the second-place service's 408,000, and new installations were about 61,000, the highest among the surveyed tools.

The survey compared eight collaboration tools developed by domestic companies using Android and iOS mobile app usage data. It excluded PC and web data as well as overseas tools.

Government adoption

In March 2026, Naver Works was selected as the official collaboration platform for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's OnAI pilot project. Naver Cloud says 18 central government ministries have since confirmed adoption of the platform.
