Nike, Rockstar Games and Travis Scott are reportedly collaborating on a pair of Nike Air Force 1 '07 sneakers themed around Grand Theft Auto 6, with a reported release on Nov. 19 — the same day the game is scheduled to launch. Sneaker News first reported the collaboration, according to cnet.com.
The shoes are reported to retail for $130 and to arrive in three colorways: White/White/Fire Pink, Black/Black/Fire Pink and Multicolor/Pale Ivory/Black/Bold Berry/Fire Pink.
Reported design details include a reverse swoosh, a city-block grid pattern on the leather, six stars on the heels and a $100 GTA-branded money band around the toe box, with 'GTA' lettering replacing 'AIR' on the midsole. Images of the shoe were shared by the sneaker account prm.stocks.01.
Neither Nike nor Rockstar Games immediately responded to a request for comment.
The game behind the shoe
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on Nov. 19 after a long wait. Grand Theft Auto 5 replaced the series' six-star wanted level system with a five-star system; the six-star system returns in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Nike has used removable rubber bands on other releases, such as the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low Lobsters, and some Travis Scott and Nike collaborations have sold on the aftermarket for more than $1,000.
