Nvidia details RTX Spark laptops, local AI agents in Seoul
The platform pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with a Grace CPU and supports DLSS 5, with laptops from Microsoft, ASUS, MSI and Lenovo on show.
Nvidia outlined its RTX Spark premium PC platform at a press briefing at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul on November 6, 2026, covering local AI agents, gaming features and notebooks built around the chip, according to inven.co.kr.
RTX Spark combines a Blackwell RTX GPU with a Grace CPU developed in cooperation with MediaTek, offering up to 20 CPU cores, up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI performance at FP4. The notebook superchip has a 45-80W TDP, and Nvidia claims about 98% performance on battery compared with AC power.
On the software side, NeMo Switchyard routes tasks between local and cloud AI models depending on their complexity. Demos included the Chief of Staff AI agent for schedule and task management, the Microduck development agent, a Video Producer Agent and an AI-assisted music creation demo called Music Performance Reimagined.
Nvidia said RTX Spark supports DLSS, ray tracing, Reflex and G-SYNC, and that 97 of the top 100 popular games run on it at launch. NBA 2K27 was shown as a DLSS 5 title, with its October update lifting frame rate from about 65FPS to about 90FPS, while Aion 2 was demonstrated with DLSS 4.5 support.
Notebooks on display included the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, ASUS ProArt P16, MSI Prestige N16 Flip and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n. Nvidia APAC technical marketing director Jeff Yen acknowledged the high price and said AI developers, content creators and early adopters are the first buyers.
Sales in Korea began on October 16, 2026 through ASUS, MSI, Lenovo and HP channels and Korean online shopping malls, with a two-month Perplexity Pro promotion.
