Osara Rock launches WordPress-to-static site migration service

The flat-rate service removes PHP from existing WordPress sites, and a free tool checks a site's visible WordPress and PHP versions.

Osara Rock Inc. has launched a service that converts existing WordPress sites into static, PHP-free sites without rebuilding them, the company announced on October 24, 2026. The service is called WordPress no Hikkoshi-bin.

Pricing is 49,800 yen including tax for up to 10 static pages and 30 blog posts, with a turnaround of 5 business days. The first three customers pay 29,800 yen including tax, on condition that before-and-after screenshots may be published as case examples.

The company said it does not enter the WordPress admin panel or take custody of passwords, since pages are exported from public content. Alongside the service, it offers a free check tool that lets users enter a URL to see whether a site runs WordPress and which WordPress and PHP versions are visible.

Own sites migrated ahead of launch

On October 23, 2026, Osara Rock moved its own rental studio DAYS and private workspace site to static sites using the same method, according to ascii.jp. The company also sells a do-it-yourself migration kit for 1,980 yen on BOOTH and has published an explainer article on PHP 8.2 end of support.

Two PHP vulnerabilities with a severity of 9.2 were disclosed on October 21, 2026. PHP 8.1 and earlier no longer receive official updates, and PHP 8.2 support ends on December 31, 2026.
