Paragon Launches After-Hours Semiconductor Futures on Hyperliquid
The perpetual futures contracts, based on a MarketVector index tracked by VanEck's SMH ETF, let investors trade Nvidia and other chip stocks outside US market hours.
Paragon has launched perpetual futures contracts on Hyperliquid that track a US semiconductor index, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The index was supplied to Paragon by MarketVector, which provided the same benchmark tracked by VanEck's SMH ETF. The product uses Pyth price data and allows investors to trade semiconductor stock movements after US regular market hours.
Paragon said it has opened 29 markets since April 2026, with about $500 million in trading volume. The contracts enable investors to gain exposure to semiconductor stocks such as Nvidia, Broadcom and AMD outside standard US trading hours.
How the framework works
Hyperliquid's HIP-3 framework allows product operators to set contract terms, price references and leverage limits. Semiconductor stocks typically trade only during limited hours with restricted liquidity, unlike bitcoin, which trades 24 hours a day.
