PMT signs 7.29 billion won probe card deal with Samsung
PMT will supply semiconductor inspection equipment to Samsung Electronics from October 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027, paid in a lump sum after delivery and inspection.
PMT disclosed on October 8 that it signed a contract worth 7,292,500,000 Korean won with Samsung Electronics to supply semiconductor inspection equipment PROBE CARD, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.
The contract amount equals 28.84% of PMT's recent revenue of 25,287,736,817 won. The supply period runs from October 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with South Korea as the sales and supply region.
Under the terms, there is no down payment or advance payment. Payment is made in a lump sum after delivery and inspection. The equipment will be produced in-house by PMT.
PMT's stock price rose 13.63% to 4,585 won as of October 8 following the disclosure.
Background
PMT has been listed on the KOSDAQ market since December 12, 2016, and has fulfilled similar contracts with Samsung Electronics over the past three years. In its 2025 separate financials, PMT reported revenue of 25.3 billion won and an operating loss of 20.4 billion won. Samsung Electronics' recent revenue stands at 238,043,009,000,000 won based on 2025 separate figures, with semiconductors as its main business.
